Faster Decisions, Better Decisions? What Professionals Told Us About AI and Judgment
Based on our Sense-Making Lab on AI and Decision-Making, this article explores how AI influences judgment, accountability, and decision quality. Participants valued AI for generating options and perspectives but also highlighted risks when speed overrides reflection. The findings suggest that effective AI-supported decisions require critical thinking, human accountability, and organizational conditions that preserve thoughtful judgment.
